Lab mix looking for a good home (Monroe,nc) Monroe
Hello, im looking for a new home for my chocolate lab mix named Tucker. I have both his parents and having three dogs is just too much in the house. Tucker is large in size, but very sweet and loving. Comes when called and doesn't bite or nip. He gets along with other dogs and know how to shake hangs, left and right. I really hate to give him away, but i just cant afford to pay for three dogs and he has to go. Im hoping i can find him a home with kids/family because he loves to play and be active. Tucker will never bite, be he does bark and growl sometimes at strangers and small dogs.  unfortunatley more kittens Indian Trail
took in a cat in a few monthes ago from my neighborhood that was being neglected that became pregnant shortly after. She had 5 kittens March 1st so they will be ready april 12th for their new homes. Just to let everyone know this was not planed. I realize the over population of animals and do not want to contribute which is why the cat in now scheduled to be spayed shortly after she is done nursing. If you are interested. Really sweet male puppy Waxhaw
This little fellow needs a good home. His personality is very sweet and he gets along great with dogs and cats. He also loves children. He loves to have his tummy rubbed and to be held like a baby. WHITE BOXER ADULT MALE (MATTHEWS) Matthews
Meet Woody! Woody is a approx 3 years old, white, neutered, male boxer. We adopted Woody from Animal Control a little over a year ago. He was emaciated but extremely sweet and loving. We needed a pet that would mesh well with other dogs, cats, and children…as we have all the above! And we were keen on the idea of rescuing an animal. Woody fit the bill!! He is a tender, sweet natured dog. However, after over a year of trying to put weight on him and many vet visits he is still very skinny. The vet seems to think that this is some sort of genetic condition that will not be reversible. This means that he will have to maintain a diet with the same food (Purina One sensitive stomach is the best!) and he may have diarrhea a few times a year. Over the year that we have had Woody we have found out that he can not be crated. This makes him very anxious and he is bound and determined to escape (he has injured himself in the past trying to escape). Woody likes to drink water….and lots of it. The doctor has said that he has troubles concentrating his urine and therefore needs to be let outside to urinate. This is one of the reasons why we feel he would be best spending most of his time outside.
This is what Woody will need in a home: An outdoor space with a fence. Woody has a micro-chip but a fence will be needed. We would prefer a home with another dog for him to play with. Woody is very social and I think he would be very lonely as an only pet. He loves the dog park and does extremely well in that environment. Since Woody is all white he is susceptible to sunburn. This being said he would need to come in the house in extreme weather and at night.
It breaks my heart that we need to find another home for Woody. He has become a part of our family but we have come to realize after months of denial that he needs a home with a yard that he can run and play in. Please only inquire if seriously interested. We have proof shots (all are current). We don’t want to have to return him to animal control because we are scared that he will be put down. Honestly, he is the sweetest boy…he just needs some love and a yard to play in.
